Summer is restoration season, and the work shop at Grand Light has been bustling with activity as we're working on numerous restoration jobs simultaneously.
One project we've been working on is the restoration of an antique chandelier with four matching wall sconces for Yale Medical Schools' Brady Memorial Lab.
One project we've been working on is the restoration of an antique chandelier with four matching wall sconces for Yale Medical Schools' Brady Memorial Lab.
At this point in the restoration, work is almost complete; the original pieces have been cleaned, structural damages have been mended, and the pin sockets and wiring leads have been repaired. At the time of writing, the glass shades are being fitted and the hand painting and stenciling is under way.
