Replication for a large outdoor lantern and post from the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal in Philadelphia continues as the iron components for the lantern have been forged and the detail has been added by hand to each and every piece, very closely resembling the originals. Each component will then be powder coated in a textured black finish to match the original which has already undergone a full restoration.

When the chandelier was removed for the park, we discovered an issue with three of the original arms.  Two of the arms had cracked at the base, and one arm was missing entirely. Also missing were two glass holders which hold the 6" diameter glass globes that rest on the end of each arm.  These missing components along with the damaged and missing arms needed to be replicated.

Grand Light would like to extend an open invitation to contractors, architects, designers, and other professionals for an open house of our lighting restoration facility at 580 Grand Ave. New Haven, CT on Thursday, July 30th, from 11am-3pm.
With the original crystals now re-pinned with replacement crystals of the same grade, it was time to rewire the arms of chandelier.
