Replication work continued on through the weekend which has successfully yielded the cage of the lantern and all of the iron scrolls which connect the fixture to it's mounting destination, and lantern's cage to the pole.
Below are some progress shots showing the original pieces in and the new pieces in which we have fabricated. The next step in this project will be the process of powder coating all of the components in a textured black finish and final wiring.
Shown is the bottom of the lantern where the scrolls attach to the pole and to the lantern adding stability to the fixture.
This is what the new cage looks like. Not 100% assembled, but fully fabricated.
