NEW HAVEN, CT - Grand Light has begun the second phase of lighting restoration work for the New Haven Museum in New Haven, Connecticut.  The fixtures being restored include a crystal chandelier from the first floor of the museum as well as ten wall sconces.

"Spiffed Up Shubert" - New Haven Register This past Sunday, the New Haven Register's Donna Doherty reported on the recent restoration work carried for the Shubert Theater in an article titled "Spiffed-Up Shubert".

"Kaplan and Fisher are quite happy with the way the repair/restoration has been handled, especially since, through their research and recommendations from city engineers, they found that the best people for the job were local companies: Cheshire's John Canning & Co., Ltd. Painting & Conservation Studios and Grand Light & Supply, which has restored all the light fixtures, calling in Branford stained-glass artist Jayne Crowley for her expertise."
WEEHAWKEN, NJ - Grand Light has begun work on the complete restoration of eight wall sconces from Weehawken High School and Theodore Roosevelt School in Weehawken, NJ.
A restored 60" diameter pendant lighting fixture from the historic Shubert Theater in New Haven, Connecticut has been reinstalled.  Over the past month, the fixture had been carefully cleaned, refinished, repaired and rewired in Grand Light's restoration shop along with numerous other fixtures from the theater.
NEW HAVEN, CT - The restoration of a large 60" diameter pendant from the historic Shubert Theater has been completed, and plans are being made for the lighting fixture to be reinstalled later this week.
NEW HAVEN, CT - As the lighting restoration work for the Shubert Theater approached completion, it was determined that a 60" diameter pendant light, the largest in the theater, should also be restored.
NEW HAVEN, CT - An outdoor lighting fixture, previously restored by Grand Light, has been replicated for installation at Yale University's Calhoun College.
CONCORD, MA - This past Tuesday, restoration professionals from Grand Light returned to Minute Man National Historical Park in Concord, Massachusetts to reinstall a beautifully restored crystal chandelier. The chandelier had been on display for a number of decades in the Stedman Buttrick House, which serves as the park's headquarters and visitors' center for the historic North Bridge.
