New Haven, C.T - Grand Light has officially completed restoration on Dakota Middle School Theater, with all fixtures packaged, labeled and ready for delivery.
Grand Light's restoration team has cleaned all of the metal surfaces and applied a UV resistant top coat to all fixtures. A complete dis assembly has occurred, as well as inspection and repair of all minor mechanical defects. The team has replaced all existing electrical components with UL listed products, rewired and hipot tested the components. Glass has been replicated and replaced to closely match the originals.

The fixtures were tested and labeled in accordance with UL standard 1598 luminaries. Each fixture is individually packaged with bubble wrap and placed in a marked box indicating fixture type and providing additional cushioning for the historic fixtures. As a final measure to ensure a safe arrival, the custom built containers are then filled with packaging peanuts.
