New Haven, Ct - Grand Light has been selected to replicate the wall sconces in the White House Visitors Center in Washington DC. The sconces are being replicated for a current renovation to the visitors center. A total of eight of these fixtures will be made using cast brass and hand forged iron. The cast brass components will be antiqued to match the existing fixtures, and a black patina will be applied to the iron work which makes up the base of the fixture.
New Haven, Ct - Grand light was contacted by a client in Florida whom had asked if we could reproduce a chandelier that had been seen in a building for their residence. A photograph had been submitted and a reproduction of the chandelier had been designed specific to our clients needs.
New Haven, Ct - Grand Light has been contracted to recreate a 2 column mounted outdoor lighting fixtures for an upscale residence in Pittsburgh, PA. As a part of this project, original components were to be utilized in the fabrication of the new fixtures.
New Haven, CT - The Type DB, DD, and DE custom lighting fixtures and fixture replications for the Magala Cove library in Palos Verdes are in various stages of completion.
New Haven, Ct - Grand Light has received a go-ahead to restore and modify the existing historic luminaries that are on the outside of the 101 State Street Building in downtown Springfield, Mass. 
New Haven, CT - After several weeks of production on the custom 18" frosted glass globes, the modifications have begun to modify the solid globe to accommodate an 8 3/4" opening on the bottom so it will fit on the fixture.
New Haven, CT - Grand Light has delivered phase II of this project which included the interior lanterns. In this phase we completed 10 wall lanterns designed for the interior of the house.
Port Arthur, TX - Grand Light was contacted by Port Arthur Independent School District - School of Performing Arts, in regards to restoring some light fixtures in the main Lobby of the establishment. After considerations, it was decided to create new fixtures to accommodate the upgraded look of the Lobby.

The project required 10 flush mount fixtures and 5 pendant lights with similar design. The fixtures were drafted by Grand Light and sent for the client's approval. Samples for glass and finish were sent as well, and the client approved the combination of acrylic bowl bleached honey onyx, and a mahogany bronze finish. All the fixtures accommodate CFL lamps, and were wired in accordance to UL standards.

New Haven, CT - Fabrication has begun on 10 massive indoor Arts and Crafts lanterns. These were designed in the same style of the previously reported outdoor lantern, but from brass with an antique copper finish. Four smaller units will be 2' tall and the other six units will be an impressive 3' tall. The fixtures will be wall mounted inside a large room that is wired with a very sophisticated color kinetics lighting system.

New York, NY - Columbia University was founded in 1754 and it is the oldest institution of higher learning in the state of New York, the fifth in the United States. Over the years, the University expanded and changed locations, until in 1897, President of the University, Seth Low, built the Morningside Heights campus, as part of his grand design for an ideal University. This campus,  located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is where Columbia University prospers to these days.

Grand Light was contracted by Columbia University to reproduce lighting components on existing lamp posts throughout the Morningside campus.

New Haven, Ct - After weeks of structural repairs, modifications, cleaning, and rewiring, The large crystal chandelier for the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in nearly complete and ready to be re-assembled in the church by the Grand Light team.
New Haven, CT - After coming across a picture of some custom library lighting fixtures that Grand Light had fabricated for Yale University, an alumni of Yale requested that similar fixtures be fabricated for his home.
The frames of ten hand forged iron lanterns and two wall mounted fixtures for a private residence in Connecticut are now nearly complete and will soon be wired and prepared for shipment.

New Haven, CT - Grand Light has completed restoration work on four historic lighting fixtures from Yale University's Briton Hadden Memorial Building, home to the Yale Daily News.

New Haven, CT - Grand Light was asked to design and fabricate four hand-crafted custom library light fixtures for a private residence in Potomac, Maryland. The fixtures were to be installed on custom bookshelves which curved in each corner of the room.
