Lantern restoration & replication nearly completed

|
PHILADELPHIA, PA - The replication of a large outdoor lantern from the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal is nearing completion.  It will soon be given a matte-black textured finish and then rewired in accordance with UL standards.
Replication work continued on through the weekend which has successfully yielded the cage of the lantern and all of the iron scrolls which connect the fixture to it's mounting destination, and lantern's cage to the pole.

Replication for a large outdoor lantern and post from the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal in Philadelphia continues as the iron components for the lantern have been forged and the detail has been added by hand to each and every piece, very closely resembling the originals. Each component will then be powder coated in a textured black finish to match the original which has already undergone a full restoration.

The complete restoration of a large outdoor lantern from the Shrine of Miraculous Medal in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is progressing rapidly.
The restoration team at Grand Light has begun the process of fully restoring and replicating a large outdoor lantern and post from the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal in Philadelphia.
