Custom Wagon Wheel Chandelier - Private Residence

- Project Overview
Inspired by the custom "wagon wheel" chandelier Grand Light designed for Dwight College's Rosenfeld Hall at Yale University, the owners of the pool house requested to have a chandelier crafted in the same style. The original chandelier measured eight feet in diameter. Grand Light customized this original design, and made the residential adaptation of the rustic chandelier three feet smaller.
In addition to decreasing the diameter to five feet, Grand Light's team also modified the design by giving the chandelier a custom color scheme, to match with the interior wood work of the pool house. The candle fittings were made white, harmonizing with the antique brass accent spinnings and fittings. The wrought iron band, which acted as a base for the candle uplights was also given a custom brushed black-brown finish.
The project was a pleasure for Grand Light's team, who were able to adapt the design intended for use by the academic institution, and have it be not only applicable, but aesthetically pleasing in a residential setting as well.
